Shakey's Milkshake Bar, a new store on the Gold Coast, provides milkshakes made of your favourite flavours. You can add flavours, mix flavours or add toppings to create new tastes. As a new company, they needed a theme. Shakey's wanted to create a fresh, funky atmosphere so decided to play on where milk actually comes from; udders. They decided on the colour pink to represent their brand.

VECA Group, who was handling Shakey’s interior design, came to ANL with the themed idea and the specific colour pink that they wanted. From this, the ANL Lighting Project Department and VECA Group worked together to choose the ideal light fittings that were then specially powder-coated the perfect pink.

VECA Group chose ANL Lighting as we were able to supply the customised products quickly and because of our knowledge in what lighting would complement the specific application while keeping in mind wattage, brightness and efficiency. The end result was four pink, powder-coated, surface mounted downlights and two adjustable, snorkel style downlights. These fittings teamed with fresh, bright light illuminated the entire Shakey’s Milkshake Bar to create a fun, quirky and colourful effect.
